He was born on 28th December 1937 , Mumbai.
Personal Life –
Ratan Tata is also a example of true lover ,
Four times he stepped back for getting married but once he fall in love with a girl but her parents didn’t let her to come India and afterwards Ratan Tata never married.

He Honored with two civilian awards, Padma Bhushan the second highest civilian Honor in 2000 and Padma Vibhushan the third Highest civilian Honor in 2008.
In 2001 he was awarded with Assam Vaibhav the highest civilian award of Assam for his contribution towards cancer care in Assam and also with Maharashtra Bhushan which is a highest civilian award presented annually by the Government of Maharashtra state in India.
Education –
He completed his schooling from Campion school Mumbai and cathedral and John Cannon school, Mumbai .
He is a farmer of the Cornell University College of Architecture and Harvard Business School through the Advanced Management Program.
